When you hold a Rosemary brush, it is a tactile experience which already makes you feel like a professional.
The glossy wood handle, gold embossed lettering, slick ferrule, and the fine bristles complete
the beauty of these handmade brushes.
For our Classical brush set, we prefer the short flat softer brushes.
With the short flats (brights), you can achieve that chiselled edge necessary for seamless
transitions and crisp collisions. Cheaper brushes fall apart sometimes after one use and cleaning.
Rosemary brushes stand up to some of the abuse.
But because of the experience of using a finer-made tool, students and artists
tend to treat these beautiful brushes with more care.
The “Ivory short flat and filberts” are like butter.
Loaded with good quality paint, they glide onto any surface, delivering just the right effect.
